Randell Prosthetics Inc.
We have been practicing our craft in the greater St. Louis area for over 23 years as Randell Prosthetics. I, personally, have over 40 years’ experience in the industry as a Technician, Lab Manager and Owner. Each of our denture technicians average over 30 years experience. Three of us have worked together for over 30 years in the dental laboratory business. We are a small denture lab concentrating on consistent quality work and unmatched service in the dental field. At Randell Prosthetics, we realize there has to be a partnership between the doctor and their laboratory, in order to achieve the quality you expect. We must deliver what we promise for you to prosper and us to benefit. Having an open line of communication with our Doctors is where it all starts. Discussing involved cases before a problem arises can save you hours of chair time and patient aggravation. I look forward to hearing from you with any questions you may have on our products or services.
What to expect at Randell Prosthetics
We offer case planning for all types of combination cases, including implants, precision attachments, and conventional crown and bridge with partial castings. Coordinating all phases of reconstruction prior to the beginning procedures, will greatly eliminate complications and insure an aesthetic, functional result for a satisfied patient. Phone consultations are always welcome. We are currently working together with several crown & bridge laboratories in the St. Louis area. We are looking forward to working with yours.
WE HAVE A STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE OF QUALITY CONTROL AND COMMUNICATION.
When your case arrives in the laboratory, we will immediately disinfect it before entering it into our computer tracking system. We will check for any obvious problems, such as broken models, teeth or missing bites. If any concerns arise, you will be contacted promptly.
OUR NEXT STEP IS THE LOGIN.
At this stage the case will be entered into the system for scheduling, fabrication and tracking purposes. If there is a scheduling conflict, you will be contacted as soon as possible with a time extension. We do understand the need for emergency cases. Please talk with Randy personally with any scheduling concerns you may have.
NOW YOUR CASE ENTERS INTO THE WORKFLOW.
At this time, all impressions are poured, models trimmed, bites checked, set and articulated. Again we inspect your case and call you with any potential problems.
MOVING ON TO THE SETUP PHASE.
Each case is scrutinized a little closer. Here models, abutments, bites and setup are reviewed with the lab script to make sure the doctor’s instructions are being followed. After waxing, the appliance is either returned for tryin or moves to the investing and processing stage.
THE MAJORITY OF OUR PROCESSING IS DONE WITH STATE OF THE ART INJECTION PROCESSING EQUIPMENT.
After divesting, the case is returned to the articulator for any post processing adjustments that may be necessary.
WE ARE NOW READY TO FINISH AND POLISH THE DENTURE.
Each phase of fabrication requires a technician to review the work which has been completed prior to their receipt of the case. This constant checking and rechecking assures a consistent quality of work before a final inspection and delivery to your office.
